We use the same technologies and frame construction techniques with the Reaction Hybrid Rookie as we do with the adult bikes that inspired it. For example, the gravity cast down tube and 1.5in head tube create a stiff backbone for a bike that, let’s be honest, is going to be ridden with healthy enthusiasm. Internally routed cables keep gears shifting smoothly with minimal maintenance, and there’s even provision for a simple upgrade to a dropper post for added confidence out on the trail.
